At Overchurch Junior School, it is our intent to provide a Geography curriculum that is inclusive to all children.
We seek to develop children’s curiosity and fascination about the world and its people.

Our aims are to fulfil the requirements of the National Curriculum by offering a broad and balanced curriculum.
Teaching should equip pupils with knowledge of diverse people, places, resources and natural environments, alongside a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. Through revisiting these areas, our pupils will gain a deeper understanding of the world and the importance of Geography in our curriculum.  The Geography curriculum at Overchurch Junior School will enable children to develop skills that are progressive and transferable to other curriculum areas and to life outside school.
